Protecting children matters more than a contest.
Guardian consent
For participants under 18, the submitter must confirm that they are a parent or authorized guardian and consent to publication of the approved contest photo.
Limited public information
The public gallery does not expose mobile numbers, email addresses, full dates of birth or guardian contact details. Organizers should avoid publishing school names, home addresses or other unnecessary identifying information.
Manual moderation
Every submitted photo remains private until an administrator approves it during the verification phase. Moderators can reject inappropriate, misleading, copied or unrelated content.
Photo handling
When PHP's standard image library is available, uploaded images are re-encoded before publication, which helps remove embedded camera metadata such as EXIF details.
Reporting concerns
If you believe a photo should not be public, use the Contact page to reach the contest administrator. Organizers should respond promptly to legitimate safety or consent concerns.
